Session on Adolescence by Doctors
After months of trying really hard and knocking on various doors, the children of both our centres were visited by 2 gynaecs for a session on Adolescence on Saturday 12th May.
The husband and wife duo- Dr. Rannas, introduced the children to not only the physical changes that take place during this age period but also the emotional, social, aspirational developments and impulses they create. In preparation for this session the children had already sent in their questions to the Doctors ahead of time and the Doctors adequately answered most of the kids doubts.
Towards the end of the session, the kids discussed their career aspirations and the Doctors were able to throw light on the physical and mental demands of the professions the kids choose to go to.
The girls have requested for another session with Dr. Mrs. Ranna.
A big thank you to our volunteer Liza Didi who made this session possible.
